Born out of pure love and honestly, a little naivety
It started on a sunny Saturday with our homemade sangria and a dream that felt a little too big to say out loud.
We were inspired by the verandas we grew up with in our Indian homes, those cozy and open spaces where friends, family, and even strangers gathered, shared stories, and simply spent time together.
Community isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the whole thing. It’s hard to build and even harder to maintain. But our village, the friends, the family, the VS crew, showed up for us in ways we will never forget.
Every gathering we have hosted has carried that feeling forward, built around people, stories, and shared intention. At the heart of it all is our commitment to uplifting the communities we’re part of by partnering with local businesses that are minority owned and run, whether they are women, immigrant, or LGBTQ+ led.
